Rebecca Leigh Pattiz

Rebecca Pattiz is an associate at Outten & Golden, and a member of the firm’s Class Action Practice Group, representing employees in discrimination and wage and hour and hour litigation. Prior to joining the firm in 2022, Ms. Pattiz worked as a civil rights associate at Beldock Levine & Hoffman, where she represented clients in police misconduct and employment discrimination matters, and as a litigation association associate at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton, LLC. Ms. Pattiz earned her B.A., magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, from Barnard College, Columbia University in 2011, and her J.D., cum laude, from NYU School of Law in 2018, where she served as a Senior Articles Editor for the N.Y.U. Review of Law and Social Change. During law school, Ms. Pattiz worked as a law clerk at Outten & Golden, participated in N.Y.U’s employment law clinic, and served as a clinic student with the NAACP Legal Defense Fund, where she worked on a school desegregation case in Mississippi. Prior to law school, Ms. Pattiz taught 7th grade social studies as a Teach for America corps member.
