During law school, Ms. Quinto was an Ella Baker Fellow with the Center for Constitutional Rights, a Wenk Public Interest Fellow with the ACLU-New Jersey, the 2012 National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers’ Minority Law Fellow with the Neighborhood Defenders Service of Harlem, a 2012 Garden State Bar Association Scholar and the 2012 American Association for Justice’s Mike Eidson Scholar. She was also selected as the Spring 2013 Law Student Legal Writing Contest Winner for the National Law Review, which published her article, “The Siren Song Of Securities: The Perils Of Expert Networks & The Risks Of Insider Trading.”
Prior to law school, Ms. Quinto worked with various human rights and media organizations, including WITNESS and Globalvision/Media Channel, where she contributed to a 2007 documentary called “In Debt We Trust.” She was also a freelance journalist for ethnic media publications in New York covering the Asian-American community.
Ms. Quinto is a long-time community activist for immigrant and women’s rights with AF3IRM/Gabriela Network. She received her B.S.F.S from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service in 2002.
