I came to know Ms. Peters when she was assigned to me as a public defender. Prior to Ms. Peters taking my case, I was assigned someone that was ineffectual and soon realized my current attorney was neglectful with evidence and keeping lines of communication open. This all came to an end when Ms. Pete...rs took my case. She managed to show empathy even though she couldn’t have possibly known how I felt or what I was going through. She was very sympathetic to my plight. She was available day and night as well as weekends. She showed interest and concern for my life out of trial as well.
