My attempt to express my gratitude and respect for Jeffrey Lichtman via this review, will likely fall short of it's intent. When I was approached with subpeonas from the federal government detailing a possible intent to prosecute. I was fearful, alone, overwhelmed and confused. I knew not...hing about the machinations of the law process but knew I would need an attorney. I was fortunate enough to contact Jeffrey Lichtman and after speaking with him, I felt a sense of comfort and protection. Not only was he able to explain what was happening, he was able to put my emotions at ease with his empathetic nature. I specifically remember him saying to me, "I know you feel like you are sitting in a dark room, and can't find the light switch." At that moment, I knew Jeffrey was the attorney I wanted to help guide me. Despite calling him an innumerable number of times, he always answered my call; any day and at any hour and explained things to me. Jeffrey has always been honest with me even when it wasn't what I was hoping to hear. He was always clear, concise and formulated a plan for me. Jeffrey's skill as an attorney is unmatched. He works tireless hours and when the chips were down, when I felt hopeless, he was able to obtain the result I had dreamt of for so long. Often times, I would express to him what I thought our plan should be. Perhaps another attorney would acquiesce; against their better judgement. Jeffrey explained his thought process and legal plan to me in a cogent manner. Through each step of the process, I always deferred to his judgement, experience and expertise even if I disagreed or it was the more arduous path. I am so glad that i did! I can definitively say that he was thoughtful, deliberate and measured. It is because of Jeffrey Lichtman that I have my freedom today. If ever are unfortunate enough to find oneself at risk of a criminal indictment, I would recommend contacting Jeffrey Lichtman; with the utmost fervor. Aside from this review and his well deserved plaudits, I wish there was something more I can do or say to thank Jeffrey Lichtman; truly from the bottom of my heart. In 2018 I was arrested and charged with a federal crime facing a significant amount of time in prison if convicted. I spent the next 14 months preparing for trial as I was told by my attorneys that my case was winnable. Of course I was happy with that opinion but what did I know about the risks of g...oing to trial? Based on doubts I began to have regarding strategy and with no real attempt to negotiate a plea bargain I was advised by a friend who had been through the system to seek a second opinion. It seemed that my attorneys were more interested in bleeding me dry by going to trial then taking a path with the least amount of risk. Facing prison is a life changing event, and with prosecutors having a 97% success rate you better be damn sure your case is winnable. This is why you need lawyers that not only know the system but also have the reputation of getting the best results and telling the truth. After making the decision to change I researched many lawyers and firms before I found Mr. Lichtman. One of the main reasons I chose his firm was that he was not only highly rated but was well respected by his peers. He had a long history of successful outcomes and was the kind of fighter I needed to get through the final stages of this nightmare. As someone who has spent many years in business I recognize that success has a great deal to do with who you surround yourself with. Once I retained his firm I met Mr. Lichtman’s partner Jeffrey Einhorn who I quickly came to trust. His exceptional legal skills were obvious and his no BS style made me even more confident that I had made the right decision. What I really liked was from day one the two Jeff’s never pulled any punches, they called it straight and never allowed money to drive their decision making. In fact, the costs of my defense were considerably less than my first attorneys had asked for. In addition, they were always available to answer any questions or concerns regardless of the time of day or day of the week. This was critical for me as I was in a constant state of fear regarding my case. Unfortunately for me by the time I had made a decision to change lawyers I was so close to going to trial that whatever leverage I may have had when I was arrested was no longer available. Seeing Mr. Lichtman advocate on my behalf was quite an experience. There are things that he accomplished at sentencing that don’t necessarily show up in the score card as they say in baseball, but I know that very few attorneys have the talent and experience to make split second decisions that can affect your future and sway a judge. I saw this happen right before my eyes. Because of these skills I believe that my final outcome was far better than what I would have received had I stayed with my previous attorneys. My advice to anyone reading this is that hiring the right attorney is the most important decision you will make. It will affect every part of your journey through the criminal justice system. For me, I wish I had been more patient and that I had found Mr. Lichtman and his partner right from the start.

In Jeffrey's world, mine was a small case. He never treated it as a small case. I was facing 9 misdemeanor criminal charges which could have sunk my career and my ability to support my family. He arranged a proffer with the DA's office and once they heard my side of the story, they called and offered... to drop everything to 1 non-criminal violation and he got the case sealed. Jeffrey is the best criminal defense lawyer one can have. He is honest, forthright, hard-working, and knows his world better than anyone else. You want him fighting for you.

I met with Mr Lichtman to discuss my federal case. He was amazing. We spent two hours discussing details of my case. I can hardly sleep at night anymore, I have a newborn son, I wanted to get married. Then this all came crashing down on me. We spoke about it all. He helped steer me in the right dire...ction. He gave me advice, suggestions, and left me with more confidence than I came into his office with. If you can afford him hire him. There’s no doubt he would’ve worked his tail off for me and been successful on our behalf.
