Disrespect to the client: when I initially contacted the firm and explained the situation, they said they would take the case. They asked me to get some documentation to speed up the process, which I did, and I delivered those documents to the firm's office in Manhattan. After two months, I called th...e Simona Safari Intake Administrator with whom I dealt, and she told me that they decided to reject the case and that she called me a month ago to let me know. That was not true, but let it be an honorable mistake. I asked her to return my documents to me, and she promised to call me and tell me the time and day when I could come and pick them up. After two weeks of silence, I called again, and she told me how swamped she was and that she would discover those documents and call me within the next two days. After another two weeks of silence, I called the main office and raised the complaint. After ten minutes, I got a call back from the main office with an apology and assured that my documents were ready for pick up. I picked up my documents but did not receive any apologies for that disrespectful action.

This guy is awful. I signed a retainer with him thinking he would help me with an awful accident I was in, and he did absolutely nothing. There was a video of the accident, I was gravely injured and lost my job and academic career over it, and he did nothing for me after agreeing to represent me. Gav...e me no advice, never even interviewed me to see how I had been injured or what I had lost due to the accident. Worse than that, he sent me to a doctor (citimed) during covid and they didn't take temperatures or wear masks. He put my health in jeopardy and traumatized me. I saw cockroaches in the corners of every room. He failed to get the surveillance video of my accident, refused to take any phone calls with me until I threatened him with a lawsuit, then when I confronted him with the way he mishandled my case he dropped me as a client. Reporting him to the DA and the bar. I can't believe he's practicing.
