ABOUT WILLIAM
I am a New York City trial lawyer specializing in personal injury litigation, including construction accidents, catastrophic injury cases, motor vehicle accidents and premises liability cases.
Prior to joining the law firm of Hach & Rose, LLP. I was one of the founding partners of the personal injury firm Lurie, Ilchert, MacDonnell & Ryan, LLP representing seriously injured plaintiffs and obtaining numerous million dollar verdicts.
I started my legal career working for a number of large insurance companies defending their insureds from all types of claims including personal injury claims.
I obtained my Juris Doctor degree from Brooklyn Law School in 1975.
I am a member of the Bar of the State of New York and am admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
I am also a member of the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, the New York City Bar Association, the Nassau County Bar Association, the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum and the Million Dollar Advocates Forum. Membership in the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum is limited to attorneys who have won million and multi-million dollar verdicts, awards and settlements for their clients.
