Subhan Tariq

Subhan Tariq regularly handles complex commercial litigation, with particular experience in consumer finance litigation representing individual consumers in the areas of federal and state consumer protection laws. Mr. Tariq has successfully helped hundreds of consumers exercise their consumer rights against large institutional banks, debt collectors, and the consumer reporting agencies. 

Subhan received his Bachelors of Arts in Political Science, Sociology & Economics from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 2010, and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Massachusetts School of Law in 2013, where he graduated in the top 15% of his class, was Dean’s Fellow, and Student Life Chair. He is currently admitted in New York and New Jersey, the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.

Mr. Tariq is passionate about community service, and social and economic justice; volunteering with the New York Bar Association, he takes on pro-bono cases involving domestic violence and abuse. Mr. Tariq mentors young entrepreneurs and serves as the Secretary of the School Board of the Muslim Center Junior High School. Mr. Tariq is also a member of the National Association of Consumer Advocates.
