Karen Marie Asner

Karen has over 20 years of experience trying cases and conducting arbitrations before courts and tribunals in New York and throughout the United States.  She has represented Fortune 500 companies, individuals and small businesses in a broad array of complex matters involving a wide variety of industries.  Her relentless focus is on achieving outstanding results that further the goals and interests of her clients in a cost-effective way.

After more than ten years as a partner with one of the world's largest law firms, including three years as that firm's Global Administrative Partner, Karen fulfilled her long-held desire of opening her own law practice offering the exceptional quality of big firm practice with the hands-on efficiency and cost savings of a small firm.

Karen received her J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School and her Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and History from Alma College, graduating first in her class.  She clerked for the Hon. Frederic Smalkin in the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland.  She is a member of the New York bar and also is admitted in the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the U.S. Courts of Appeal for the Second and Seventh Circuits.
