On Decembet 6th of 2018, our family got hit with the worst tragedy of our lives. We lost our home to a fire due to Landlord's maintenance negligence, and along that, we lost our beloved father who couldn't escape the fire due to his physical disability. The world felt like it was crumbling down. W...e had no place to go as we have no relatives in the US. We had no place to stay at but Red-cross took us in temporarily and we have jumped from shelter to shelter since then. We lost all our physical belongings and the thought of replacing everything was economically burdensome. Most importantly, my 2 younger brothers and I wanted justice in the wrongful death of our father. Just then, it felt like God heard our prayers and felt our agony and sent us an angel our way, Hach & Rose. H&R approached us and offered us their help which we found skeptical that a lawfirm would be willing to help us fight a case without demanding any payment in advance, and if the case was lost, no payment would be required from our side either. At that point, it was worth a try as we had nothing more to lose. H&R stood side by side with us and helped us in every possible way they could for the past 5 years. Yes, it took 5 years as we ran into Covid. We all patiently waited as H&R followed up closely with every party to expedite the case as fast as they could. The saying "The best comes to those who wait" is absolutely true. We waited and H&R finally won this long fought case, and they fought very hard to get the most compensation they could for our family. And finally, may our father rest in peace knowing that his wrongful death finally obtained closure on 03/14/2024 I couldn't thank them enough for their support this whole time. They kept us updated at all times and answered our questions as fast as they could. We never felt neglected nor did we have to ask thousands questions or send thousands of emails or call endlessly to obtain an answer or update. They have a wonderful team. ALL OF THEM showed care. We felt entrusted in their care and knew they were looking out for our best interest. In any circumstance where you might ever go through what we did or seek the help of a lawfirm ( God forbid and knock on wood ), I wholeheartedly and fully believe you could entrust yourself in their hands. H&R reinforced my belief that there is always hope out there and the wrongful will pay for their sins, somehow someway. Never give up ! God bless for them for their genuilamity!
