Biography
Donald Casadonte joined Turek Roth Grossman LLP as an Associate Attorney in 2021, where he represents businesses, property owners, co-op and condominium boards, landlords, tenants, and developers in a wide variety of commercial litigation and real estate matters.
Before joining Turek Roth Grossman LLP, Donald was an associate attorney at Collins Gann McCloskey & Barry PLLC, concentrating his practice in the area of criminal defenses in both state and federal criminal court. Don also worked in the area of dietary supplement regulation and steroid law as well as personal injury cases.
Prior to joining Collins Gann McCloskey & Barry, Don spent more than three years as a Nassau County Assistant District Attorney, where he concentrated his practice in domestic violence and sex crime cases. An experienced litigator, he has tried multiple jury and bench trials from jury selection to verdict. Before joining the Nassau County District Attorney’s Office as an assistant DA, he served as a legal intern at both the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office and Nassau County District Attorney’s office, where he observed various stages of the criminal trial process in the Supreme Courts of Suffolk County/Nassau County and conducted legal research on a variety of topics. He also served as a legal intern at the Legal Aid Society of Suffolk County and the Melville law firm of Suris & Associates, P.C.
Don received his undergraduate degree from the State University of New York at Geneseo, and his J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law. He is admitted to the New York State Bar.
