Charles Gershbaum

We are from out of state and were visiting NY. My wife fell on a slightly raised platform on the sidewalk and severely broke a bone in her hand. To the casual observer it might not have seemed like a serious injury, which is what the other side maintained, but Mr. Gershbaum immediately understood the... severity, kept us well-informed every step of the way and always gave us our options and his opinions (as well as his colleagues) as to the merits of the case and where he thought it was headed. He made us aware of the developments in NY State law that had the potential to impact the case and when a settlement was offered explained the possibilities and gave us his opinion but allowed us to make the decision without pushing in either direction.
