Alan Van Praag's successful cases have made new law on issues of cross border solvency, contractual statute of limitations and the application of Rule B of the Supplemental Rules of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure pertaining to maritime attachment.
He has authored numerous articles relating to international and maritime legal issues and has lectured at both international and domestic fora on various legal subjects, including the U.S. Capitol.
