Rigodis Tiffany Appling

Ms. Appling's complete disregard for my case and inaction at a time when I was in a vulnerable position is inexcusable. I would not recommend her at all and did not find her to advocate on my part as you would want an attorney to. She failed to listen to my concerns or provide me with basic informat...ion relevant to my case. She also tried to scare me (for her own amusement it seemed) with irrelevant threats that did not materialize. It also became clear to me that she thinks only non-white people should receive assistance as white people are already too privileged.

She is hard to deal with. She came across sweet at first and then started becoming very indifferent with me regarding my case. In my opinion she's very self absorbed and has issues with you voicing concerns about the way she chooses to represent you. She has a huge attitude and when confronted become...s very belligerent. I had to fire her after she proceeded to scream at me in front of other people in the hallway of the court building. I would never recommend her as she treated me with such indifference & with total disrespect. Her incompetence was too much & I simply grew tired of her antics. She was repremanded more then once by the judge and I must point out I was her client for several months. The best thing I did was fire her. I hired a new private attorney instead of using a public appointed one such as Ms. Appling and had the case completely dismissed. I feel Ms. Appling is part of an ever growing problem within our legal system she just simply doesn't care what the outcome is for her client.
