Dwight Eugene Yellen

I am the founder of Chidatma Lex Group, a law firm focusing on the legal and business needs of entrepreneurs. I have handled mortgage foreclosures, bankruptcy reorganizations, corporate transactions and both transactional and litigation of real estate matters. My experience is unusually broad in industry scope, having represented clients in the Fashion, Pharmaceutical, Computer Science and Real Estate Investment industries.

Prior to creating Chidatma Lex I was counsel to Kriss & Feuerstein LLP, a real estate boutique in New York City.  I was a member of Ballon Stoll Bader & Nadler, P.C., Traub, Bonacquist, Yellen & Fox and an associate with Weil, Gotshal & Manges. I also served a one-year Judicial Clerkship with the Honorable Lawrence A. Whipple in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.

An accomplished guitarist, I have long had a passion for music. I am a longtime member of the , an organization promoting recreational music, and have performed with several bands at many landmark New York clubs including: the Bitter End, Wetlands, the Red Lion and the Cutting Room. I also turned my affinity for music into a long-term relationship with Church Street School for Music and Art, Inc., a community based non-profit organization encouraging art and music education for Downtown New York, where I sit on the Board of Directors.
