I was looking for top business lawyers in New York. We are a tech company, we have a SaaS platform and do custom work for large companies. I was searching for a contract lawyer for an ongoing engagement reviewing vendor agreements, client agreements, artificial intelligence law, and marketing and co...mmunications materials. We had a UCC - Lien that was wrongfully filed against our business with no cause or notice. Our day-to-day funds were compromised and we had no access to funds for 3 months. We had to locate a lawyer to remove the lien, however it was not a simple process. We had an insurmountable web of "issue...s" that required untangling, but Jana sorted out the web that involved several major entities including the our Secretary of State system and documents, NY Supreme Court documents, the Lender's contracts, and a major online payment company who had limited customer support, and a difficult to reach Legal department. Needless to say, we thought this was a lost cause, and we felt our only option was to close our business. Jana gave us her word she would do her best to have this issue resolved before the year's end. I am happy to report, she succeeded, and she honored every single promise! We recently work with Jana Gouchev and her firm to help us create a new shareholder agreement. Our old agreement existed many defects and are not fair for some shareholders.
