Teddy Micheal Ellison

Teddy is the Managing Partner at Serotonin Legal, where he works with founders and investors building venture-backed technology companies. His practice focuses on early- and growth-stage financings, general corporate matters, and mergers and acquisitions. He advises companies in a variety of industries, including crypto, AI, biotech, CPG and gaming, among others. He also advises the investors and family offices that invest in these technologies.
Before joining Serotonin Legal, Teddy was an emerging company and venture capital attorney at Latham and Watkins in New York City, where he advised companies from formation through exit including all their financings and general corporate needs along the way. Teddy also has extensive experience working on small to large M&A transactions. Teddy also spent four years as a General Counsel to a few different technology companies so he knows how to manage client relationships having spent time in their shoes.
He approaches transactions collaboratively, with an emphasis on practical solutions and thoughtful advocacy for his clients.
