My professional successful and happy experience with Spiro Ferris comes from work he performed for me on Contracts and Agreements where we spent a lot of time together to accomplish the work. In the process we would sometimes share interesting stories about cases/projects we were involved with. One o...f his stories was about the Melvin Morales case; where Morales was accused of a hit and run while driving a tow truck leading to the horribly tragic death of a child. Mr. Ferris believed Morales’s claim that he was not involved despite of evidence to the contrary. He discovered surveillance video taken when the incident occurred which was inconclusive due to poor quality. He told me that he was looking to perform a high quality forensic video analysis that would establish the truth, identify the correct driver and clear his client of potentially false charges. Since I have clients in related fields; I suggested a long established firm that he ultimately utilized. The results were technically fascinating and proved clearly that the tow truck involved was not his, fully exonerating him. It also provided clues to identify the right tow truck and hopefully the true perpetrator who was still on the loose. I was pleased to have helped and impressed at how he sought out, embraced and utilized the latest cutting edge technologies to best serve his client and enhance his unique talent and laser focus as a strategist and tactician.
