Shari Lisa Moidel

My partner and I are a bi-national couple who hired Ms. Moidel 4 years ago. She was helpful in outlining our then available options and expeditiously moved to help us with our Canadian filing. My partner had to return to the country of his birth after his employer terminated his position and his H1B ...visa in June 2012. Following the issuance of a writ of certiorari by SCOTUS for Windsor, she provided timely updates and reviews of various outcome implications. With the June 2013 decision, she worked with us to pivot and prepare our USA K1 (fiance) filing. She was organized, thorough, helpful, and responsive in the assembly and review of our submission. Thanks to her assistance, we were able to file our case with all supporting documentation summarizing our 17 year relationship by mid August. We had no requests for additional documentation or corrections. Our case proceeded basically exactly according to the timeline she relayed. Her counsel for the interview, spot on. Our fiance visa was approved in March, followed by return and our marriage. Shari was ready with the next steps, filings and advice for our joint interview. I have worked with Shari for four years. As Chief Executive of a Florida-based signage design and manufacturing company, our relationship with Ms. Moidel began in 2002 to bring in managers, executives and specialized knowledge employe...es from our corporate affiliate in the Middle East.  She had a 100% success rate with 6 different files totaling 12 different applications. The majority were brought in on L-1 visas, followed by permanent resident applications. Ms. Moidel was able to switch tracks entirely and change status from E-2 (investor visa) to R-1 (religious worker) for an individual whose case was different and more complicated than most. Ms. Moidel is responsive, always available quickly by telephone or internet. She does her due diligence before starting a matter, to set a fair fee, always fixed, which is payable as pre-agreed-upon milestones are reached.  She is pleasant to work with and although I recently retired, I continue to give her name out.

As a Human Resources Manager, I have consulted Ms. Moidel on immigration matters several times with a variety of questions. I have always found her advice to be well thought out.
