Biography
Ruth is the Founder of The Law Office of Ruth Chung, and exclusively practices Matrimonial and Family Law in New York City.
Education is paramount in making the right decisions and Ruth ensures that clients fully understand each step of the matter. Each client is guided to a resolution with a solution oriented approach, using tools of litigation only when necessary.
Ruth believes that the foundation of an attorney client relationship is communication, and makes certain that each client is heard regularly.
Prior to starting the firm, Ruth was an attorney with the Court Square Law Project (CSLP), a sliding scale non-profit firm dedicated to serving New Yorkers of moderate means. While there, she appeared in Supreme and Family Courts in all five New York City boroughs.
Ruth has prior experience with a boutique matrimonial firm in Manhattan, The Legal Aid Society - Juvenile Rights Practice, Brooklyn Family Defense Practice, Lawyers for Children, and in the Access to Justice program - Consumer Debt and Uncontested Divorce division.

Ruth is great!
