Child Custody 25%

I have represented both mothers and fathers in this most intense and emotional aspect of divorce. I fight hard for my clients, and for their children.

Child Support 25%

I know the law, I know the practice, I have represented parents who need child support and those who are paying. Even thought the law is specific in this area, there is a wide range of results depending on the lawyer you choose.

Divorce and Separation 25%

Litigated divorce is usually emotionally painful and expensive. My job is to help you get the best result in the quickest time with the lowest cost. Sometimes mediation can work to make the process more productive. I listen to my clients, I tell them the truth, I prepare extensively, and I fight hard.

Finally, a lawyer I could trust!

After years of wasted time and money, a friend recommended Mr. Leavin who was able to finally win me custody of my four children. In addition, because of his thorough knowledge of the law, he was also able to get my child support increased. He understands how these courts work and he is up-front ...about what you can expect.

Thorough and Effective

Paul was an asset and took the time to fully understand the issues in my case. Not every attorney has the time to do this, but I appreciated Paul's attention to detail. We had a solid working relationship over the months it took for resolution of my case. At times when the going was difficult Paul...'s positive reassurance was most welcome. I also appreciated not getting passed off to an assistant as can happen in larger law offices. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Paul or use him again should the need arise.

Paul is the absolute BEST!

Paul went out of his way to help me during my divorce, giving me great guidance and helping me with the boilermaker – that is to put my claim in legal language. He was always polite and generous with his time on the telephone. Always called you back. In other words I have nothing bad to say about him... whatsoever. It strikes me he is an excellent lawyer and in the world of sharks he can swim but at heart he's a dolphin. I can't recommend a more highly than to say he is highly recommended. – Richard, New York City

A true fighter for your case

Always made sure he does not increase the level conflict in my divorce case by being thoughtful and sensitive in how he communicates with the opposing part. Trustworthy and truly stands behind his pledge to fight for you like a tiger ( believe he makes mention of this on his website). Always up front... and honest even if the facts are against you and the situation does not look rosy.

Knows his stuff and does not create false hopes

He is very knowledgable about the law and is quite good at transferring this knowledge to his client. Trustworthy and ethical! This is a man who will not turn his back on you.
