Although it is terrible what happened to you on the bus, I don't think that alone can make you eligible for immigration benefits.

If your case is still pending, you do not qualify for immigration benefits yet. You need to wait until your case gets approved.

Why do you have to go back to your country if you are in the USA and get your F-1 visa here? You are just going to change B2 to F1.

To get the F-1 visa, your mother needs to contact a school and meet their criteria such as income requirements etc. If she meets that and...
