Barbara and her Team of Associates have helped my family in a way that no other Lawyers have done. I had 2 Lawyers take my husbands case in the past, 1 through work & one through marriage; unfortunately they both ended up being fraudulent. With our hopes being chatters we needed to make sure that we... had a case in our hands through the I-601A Waiver. We went to another lawyer Wilens & Baker to get one last opinion & this man crushed our hopes completely, telling us that "there was no way he can become Legal" with a minor arrest he had when he was 20. My husband & I were so depressed. A few month later my High school friend called me & told me about this wonderful lawyer that had help him & his entire Family become legal in this country. I reached out to Barbara for a consultation right away. She took a look at our case with a minor arrest and gave us the biggest news of ALL. We had a great case in our hands & we didn't hesitate to start working together right away. I started gathering all the information & documents needed for my husbands case at the end of 2015; it took me a few months to get all the paper work together. Once I handed the lawyers the documents in May of 2016 we got ready to file. I started working with Brenda Bishop one of Barbara's associates, she's an amazing lawyer. Her and Barbara worked together in order for the case to go out. Barbara Brandes was the one reviewing all the documents and getting them approved for the case to go to immigration. It took about 3 months to put our case together with Family, Friends Affidavits & most important My affidavit. I gathered pictures of how our life is & WHY is important for my husband to return to his Family in USA. Our I601-A Application for Provisional Unlawful Presence Waiver case is very strong about 300+ pages. I have to thank Brenda & Barbara for their hard work & the dedication that they both put into our case. My husbands case went out to Immigration on 9/30/16 we got the receipt that it was received on 10/5/16. Normally you get the receipt that it's received within 2-3 wks. When I told Brenda she was surprised & told me that they will schedule him for Biometric in a about a month or two. For our surprise we got his fingerprints appt. the following week for 10/28/16. Unfortunately, Victor had an accident at work & had Shatter bones on his foot needed surgery that wk. But we waited for surgery due to Appt with immigration. About a month later Victor & I found out that we were having another baby, unplanned and in shock due t o my husband injury; we let our lawyers know the situations. Processing times in January of 2017 were 4/30/16. We still had a long way to wait for our waiver to be approved. Brenda call us after the holidays that Barbara had a connection in Missouri. I asked her "for what" she explained that he was the head of that department and he will find Victors case that if we included the situations it will help our case. This didn't mean that we will get approved right away processing times were 6/2/16. We still had a few months to wait. I gather all the documents for Victors accident & my Pregnancy; from our doctors in order to make our case stronger for immigration to approve it. On 1/20/17 Brenda send me an email for me to know that they E-mail the new Amended I-601A to the top guy at the National Benefits Center, where all the I-601As are processed. I had hopes that we will get an answer in a few months; to my SURPRISED & EVERYONE else we got an APPROVED I-601A WAIVER on 1/25/17 it was Amazing. Barbara's contact HELP 100% to me its a miracle. We are now at the last step Consular Processing. For this part of our case the one helping us is another associate. Luciana & I put the case together in 3 wks. Now as of 2/15/17 the NVC has our application DS-260 & the documents to be review. We are now waiting for Interview date. I have RECOMMEND BARBARA to everyone that needs help with immigration.
