Rakhel Speyer Milstein

I've now been working with The Assadi and Milstein law firm in regard to my immigration needs for a number of years. In fact they were recommended to me be another happy client of theirs and and thank god for them both. My work and business has me dealing with all kinds of lawyers in many fields and ...my experience with Rakhel and her immigration team has been nothing short of excellent! 8 years ago, with very little credits to my name, I found it almost impossible to find a lawyer to represent me as an actor intent on acquiring an O1 visa. I eventually found Assadi & Milstein, and met with Rakhel. She was incredibly open, friendly and professional. She also seemed confident of my c...hances and mentioned their impeccable record of their clients getting approved. Well, to my astonishment, I was granted an O1. Since then I have used them for another O1 and most recently my Green Card application. To say they have been brilliant is an understatement. Whenever I have a question or a problem they have been incredibly attentive - it's a scary, difficult process dealing with visa issues etc and they not only guided me through it all but with a confidence that eased my worries considerably, which I can't stress enough how important that was to me and my general well being. Here I am 8 years on, after having perhaps my final meeting with Rakhel, as I have been granted the Green Card. I am still amazed that I was approved. Yes I have some credits to my name now, but without such a great team of lawyers I am certain I wouldn't be now waiting on a green card to arrive in the mail. Over the years I have recommended them to friends and fellow 'aliens' and they have all had a similar response. They were granted the visas they were after, and with glowing words about the company. Their rates are also competitive, which is a blessing in itself. Though to be honest, in retrospect, I think paying for a decent lawyer is worth whatever cost. Having heard some horror stories from friends who went with other firms, I'm so thankful that i got lucky and found Rakhel all those years ago. The immigration process is scary enough without having to worry about the professionalism of those representing you. Just read this back and I sound like a shill. Ha, it's rare I'm so nice about a company. I just truly have nothing but good words about Assadi & Milstein. It's been 8 years of dealing with all this and I know that I had a team of lawyers who had my back every step of the way. And I'm just so sodding relieved I'm at the finish line unscathed. Trust me, you will be too. Right, I'm off to celebrate now : )

I got Rakhel's contact from a good business mentor, to have her work with my employer for H1B and PERM cases, over a course of 4 years. Rakhel and her team were far more communicative, supportive, and informative that I could have ever asked for. Being located on both sides of the country (I reside i...n Oregon), timezones never posed a challenge. She was always responsive, and with great positive attitude towards all my questions, most of them probably silly ones. Anyways, I have recommended her to multiple friends already, and will continue to do so.

I'd consulted five lawyers before a friend referred me to Rakhel, they all had disappointed me. Rakhel is definitely the best lawyer I've met. She is very professional, and patiently answered all my questions and guided me through my O-1 application. She has been confident about my case since day 1, and cares about her clients. She and her team prepared my case very thoroughly and all my paperwork and letters are carefully and professionally crafted.

I went to Assadi and Milstein after another NYC firm couldn't provide an attorney for my deportation hearing and never informed me that my now ex attorney was disbarred for professional misconduct. I didn't have an attorney for my hearing and lost 3K that i paid them. So 5 days before my hearing i ha...d to find another firm to represent my removal proceedings case in NYC immigration court.
