2022 began with so much hope and excitement. It was my daughter's senior year and we were preparing for her prom and applying to colleges. We were also planning a huge graduation celebration. On May 27th everything came to a screeching holt. We received a call from the police. They told us the night ...before that our vehicle was involved in a major accident and that the driver left the scene. Our response was "no way"! She told us her car wasn't working and we needed to come pick her up. When we arrived there was no visible damage. After repeated efforts to drive the car home and fail, we called for a tow. So we told the officer that this must be a mistake. Our car is in our possession and our daughter is safe. The officer went on to explain what happened less than 24hrs before. You can imagine the shock we were in to hear our recently turned 18 year old was possibly involved in a hit and run. They wanted us to come in for an interview immediately. We did not know what to do as my daughter was facing criminal charges for being involved in a possible hit and run. I called everyone I knew and my brother gave me Mark's number. I had spoke to two other friends and 1 attorney before finding Mark. From the moment we spoke to him, he immediately was able to calm us and put us at ease. I remember so clearly one of the first things he said was "don't worry, your daughter is not going to jail. I can guarantee you that". He patiently listened as we described the details of what we knew. He was meticulous and clear. He was so reassuring and confident that he will be able to successfully represent our daughter. He shared that he has a daughter that graduated from a college in the same town as our daughter was going to. I felt he could relate to me. He explained things happen and people make mistakes. He once again reassured us that he would make sure our daughter would not see any jail time. I asked him about his fee for the 2hr long phone call and he said that all he did was share some good advice and that doesn't require me paying him. Jokingly he added but if you higher me then we'll discus my fees. I remember after hanging up from the phone call saying "I think we found our lawyer". Months passed and we did everything he advised us to do. Sure enough as he said he would do, he successfully represented our daughter. Her future hung in the balance and now things were back on track. We didn't know what was going to happen. God sent us an angel and we are so thankful and grateful for Mark. If you ever find yourself in need of a lawyer I would definitely recommend him. He's very experienced and knowledgeable about the laws and the way the courts work.
