My first visit to Ms. Materna was a trip, but a story with a happy ending. I traveled from Hastings on the Hudson to visit Ms. Materna by referral, and I'm glad I did. The commute there was long but my visit with her was well spent. I was (embarrassingly) over 45 min late for my appointment with her ...because I waited in the waiting room at my doctor's office for close to 2 hrs before this, and did not anticipate the delay to see her. I couldn't even contact her because I was in the subway on my way to her from my doctor's office. She graciously understood and immediately rescheduled with me for an appointment later on in the day where she found an opening in her schedule. I overwhelmingly appreciated that. She is fantastic! She is one of the most attentive lawyers I've ever met. I thought she was going to rush me but she didn't. She made sure I understood everything I needed to know before I left. I thought that was fabulous. To think, the doctor I waited close to 2 hrs for rushed me through my visit to move on to the next patient, when this sweet attorney really made me comfortable and calmed me down by unraveling my confusing real estate deal into a comprehensible achievable matter. I have since referred her to my cousin, granddaughter and all of you. There were many attorneys between Hastings on the Hudson and Wall St, but there's only one Jodi M. Materna.
