Professionally, Tanya Dwyer is dedicated to educating New Yorkers about salvaging their finances through Bankruptcy and Mortgage Modifications.
Personally, Tanya enjoys traveling to other countries and regions. She has taken memorable trips to Egypt, Dubai, France, Uganda, Italy, England, Spain, Mexico, Canada, and Jamaica.
She also enjoys lond distance running and playing her upright bass. She began playing upright bass when she moved to Brooklyn after law school. She is an avid reader.
She currently does Pro Bono work for the Brooklyn Bar Association's Volunteer Lawyer Program (VLP). Her work with the VLP is primarily in Family Court.
She also does business planning and fundraising for the Teso Widows Association, in Uganda. She began advising Ugandan widows when she first visited that country in 2005. Her focus then was on the property rights of widows and human rights of people living with HIV/AIDS, under Uganda's Constitution.
Dwyer & Associates was started to address the overwelming amount of foreclosures and bankruptcies in New York. The firm has an excellent team of licensed professionals to assist people who need help with the complexities of Bankruptcy and Mortgage Modification.

Tanya was not very good in handling my case , in fact , I fired her and retained another attorney. I had owned property and in her schedules she did not placed my home as an exempt status.
