Ravi Ivan Sharma

Ravi is admitted to the bars of New York, California, Massachusetts and all Federal Courts including the Supreme Court of the United States.

Ravi began his legal career in 1987 at Northeastern University School of Law in Boston, Massachusetts. During law school, Ravi chaired the Entertainment Law Society.

In San Antonio, Ravi worked under Larry R. Daves at the Civil Rights focused law firm of Daves, Hahn and Levy on cases such as First Amendment case United States v. Rainbow Family et al.

In Los Angeles, at the law firm of Lavely and Singer, Ravi entered the field of Entertainment Law. Ravi learned entertainment, contract and litigation skills assisting the firm's clients including Michael Jackson, Tom Selleck, Rodney Dangerfield, Sylvester Stallone and their various production, loan-out and merchandising companies.

In Boston, at the law firm of Lewin and Rosenthal, Ravi assisted as they manned the rocketing career of eighties sensation, New Kids On The Block. Ravi prepared and participated in negotiation of the contracts of Scott Glenn, Mickey Rooney, Balthazar Getty and Kate Capshaw. Ravi's contract work for the film was published in 1990 as model movie production forms in the Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education Entertainment Law Forms published by the State Bar of Massachusetts.

In Honolulu, Ravi trained in Civil and Business Litigation at the law firm of Paul, Johnson, Alston and Hunt. Work involved corporate defense.

Upon graduation from Law School, Ravi gained admission to the New York, California and Massachusetts bars and moved to Los Angeles.

In downtown LA, litigation included divorce and entertainment law and transactions included Giant Records' release of Marvin Gaye: The Last Concert Tour album.

Later in LA:  litigation counsel at the law firm of former Warner Bros. Vice President, Barry K. Rothman.

In 1994, four years after graduating from law school, Ravi opened his doors on Manhattan's Park Avenue South where he maintains his practice to this day.

As well as the courts of New York, California and Massachusetts, Ravi is admitted to the following Federal courts: Untited States Supreme Court, United States Federal Tax Court, United States First Circuit Court of Appeals, United States Second Circuit Court of Appeals, United States Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, United States Federal District Court for the Southern District of California, United States Federal District Court for the Central District of California, United States Federal District Court for the Eastern District of California, United States Federal District Court for the Southern District of New York United States Federal District Court for the Eastern District of New York, United States Federal District Court for the District of Massachusetts.

Ravi has been or is a member of the American Bar Association, New York Bar Association, Association of the Bar of the City of New York New York County Lawyer's Association, Association of Arbitrators, New York County Lawyer's Association, Criminal Justice Section.
