I am a trial attorney and partner at Gallo Vitucci Klar with 29 years experience trying cases for the defense. I have taken 60 plus cases to verdict and have tried over 300 cases which resolved during trial. I enjoy an excellent reputation amonst my colleagues, peers and adversaries.

I handle high exposure, complicated and catastrophic matters.

I have successfully tried cases for corporations, individuals, home owners, property mangement companies, property owners general contractors and sub-contractors, and small businesses to name a few. I am well versed in the intricacies of New York State Labor Law Sections 200, 240(1) and 241(6) and the contractual/common law indemnification issues, additional insured and loss transfer issues that arise during Labor Law cases.

I have also successfully tried wrongful death matters, strict products liability, premises, trucking accidents and fatalities, automobile, school district/municipal liability, toxic torts, false arrest/malicicous prosecution, and libel/slander matters amongst others.

I have tried matters throughout New York State as well as the United States District Court, Southern District of New York and the United States District Court, Eastern District of New York. I have argued in the Appellate Division for the First and Second Departments of New York.

I mentor young associates in trial preparation, trial practice and trial advocacy. I serve as counsel to the Long Island Amateur Hockey League.

I am a Certified USA Hockey Level 4 coach and Certified USA Hockey Level 4 referee. I enjoy playing golf and spending time with family and friends.
