Massimo F D'Angelo

I hired Massimo F. D'Angelo for a criminal matter. He filed a brief with the criminal court stating that my 4th amendment was violated when police officers stopped and searched me without any probable cause. The brief was so good that all of the charges were dismissed against me and nothing ever show...ed up on my record. Therefore my record was clean and it didn't hurt my ability to get a job. A lifesaver.

I was a client of Attorney Massimo D’Angelo. He represented me in a case where a housing co-op demanded from me a payment $4,581, because the co-op alleged a lease violation. During his representation, Mr. D’Angelo billed me monthly and I paid him monthly. Total for 11 months of his representation he... billed me and received from me $39,663. He filed a motion with the court, but he failed to appear in the court for the motion, so the court dismissed the motion. Subsequently, the court dismissed the entire case against the co-op. In the written opinion to dismiss, the court deemed the claim abandoned by D’Angelo, because he failed to “oppose a branch of motion to dismiss”. I replaced Mr. D’Angelo with a different attorney. Then Mr. D’Angelo stated that I owe him additional $2,676 for the work he put into the motion which was dismissed on account of his failure to appear in the court for the motion. Mr. D’Angelo stated that he will release my legal file only after I pay him the additional money. Then I paid it in full. But to this day he did not release the file to my current attorney. That is my experience with attorney Massimo D’Angelo.
