Jeffrey Yehuda Aria Spiegel

Jeffrey Spiegel is an associate at the New York office of Gordon & Rees and is a member of the Commercial Litigation, Franchise Law, Professional Liability Defense, and Intellectual Property practice groups. He represents clients in breach of contract actions, commercial collection and recovery, intellectual property disputes involving trademark and copyright infringement, employment disputes, and unfair competition in state and federal courts.  Prior to joining Gordon & Rees, Mr. Spiegel served as a Senior Claims Analyst at a major insurance carrier focusing on E&O professional liability matters. His responsibilities included claims coverage, liability and damage analysis, claim valuation, litigation strategy, and settlement negotiations.

Mr. Spiegel also worked as an associate in Chicago for a plaintiffs' litigation firm specializing in consumer protection. In that role, Mr. Spiegel was responsible for all aspects of litigation including discovery, motion practice, arbitration, mediation, and trial before state and federal courts of Illinois and Florida. He has arbitrated numerous cases before mandatory non-binding arbitration forums in Illinois, briefed and argued dispositive motions throughout both state courts, and tried matters before judge and jury throughout various jurisdictions in Florida.
