Biography
Jamar Green is an associate in Chartwell’s New York City office, where he handles general liability, employment law, insurance coverage, and commercial litigation matters on behalf of insurers and small and large businesses. An experienced trial lawyer who has saved his clients millions of dollars in settlements, Jamar delivers results that align with each client’s interests – whether through settlement, trial, or through the appellate process.
Jamar began his career as an Assistant District Attorney at the Manhattan District Attorney’s office, where he prosecuted criminal cases. He then served as a Navy Judge Advocate General, leading a Victims’ Legal Counsel Team and representing sexual assault and domestic violence victims from investigations through appeals in federal courts. Before joining Chartwell, Jamar was an associate in the New York office of a regional law firm.
A former MVP runner, Jamar’s latest athletic pursuit is ballet dancing.
