Just about all attorneys have notary licenses. You will need an attorney any way for him. May as well hire someone now.

In NY, officers ask for 90 days before we follow up. If you were not told of a time frame, sure, schedule an Info Pass now and go in.

If it says that but no interview notice, follow up with them to make sure you have not missed the notice in the mail somehow

Take care of the violation as soon as possible. Hopefully it will not effect, but you will have to disclose and provide a disposition.
