Josephine Ana Reina

Josephine A. Reina joined Weitz & Luxenberg in 2015. She performs many critical tasks in helping us prepare and prosecute litigations against the makers of injury-causing drugs and medical devices. Ms. Reina is especially skilled at key aspects of the discovery process. She is also an effective case manager, support-staff supervisor and motions drafter.  As well, Ms. Reina is experienced in vetting expert witnesses.

She is licensed to practice law in Maryland and New Jersey. Ms. Reina is a member of the American Association for Justice, the Maryland Association for Justice and the Maryland Bar Association.

Ms. Reina came to Weitz & Luxenberg after working as an associate attorney for the Baltimore law firm Janet, Jenner, and Suggs, LLC. She started there as a law clerk while enrolled at the University of Baltimore School of Law. Ms. Reina received a juris doctor degree from the law school in 2013. Owing to excellent academic performance, Ms. Reina graduated magna cum laude. She served on the editorial board of the school’s prestigious Law Review. Ms. Reina was recognized as a scholar in the field of property law. She was a campus representative for one of the nation’s top-rated bar-review programs.

At the close of her second year of studies, Ms. Reina served as a summer associate with the law firm of Douglas and London in New York City. During the spring of 2012, she was an intern for the Hon. Lynne Battaglia of the Maryland Court of Appeals in Annapolis. Ms. Reina entered law school after graduating summa cum laude in 2010 from Towson University in Towson, Maryland. Ms. Reina’s stellar grades earned her recognition as a Provost Scholar, a place on the Dean’s List, and induction to Honors College. She received a bachelor of arts degree in law and American civilization.
