John J. Appell

I was in an accident and had several lawyers offering representation. I decided to go with John Appell based on a friend's recommendation. For the past six months, he and his team continuously failed to communicate with me on what they needed from me and what steps they were taking regarding my case.... Even a simple request to receive the insurance claim information from the person who hit me was a huge task for his office. At one point his office told me that I can expect to see some (but little) compensation for the accident, so I thought thing were going well. The next time I hear from his office is via a letter in the mail stating after a review of my case that John will not represent me. I found this process long, unprofessional, and unnecessarily difficult. It also didn't help that I only spoke to John once during this timeframe.
