As a New York admitted attorney, represented family members of 36 wrongful death victims who died in the Dana Airlines crash of June 3, 2012 in a mass tort law suit in the United States District Court, Southern District of Florida and at the United States Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit and eventually obtained a significant out of court settlement against the defendant. Represented a major publicly traded German company and successfully defended a multimillion-dollar breach of contract law suit filed against it in Nigeria. Duties at the law firm also include writing, filing and arguing court briefs and motions, conducting trial of cases in court, writing legal opinions for clients, writing and arguing appellate briefs, writing legal memoranda, and drafting legal agreements on issues in many areas of Nigerian and International law with particular emphasis on Project Finance, Real Estate, Aviation, Maritime, Oil, Gas and Energy Law.
