I've used Jack a few times. DUI, restraining order by wife, alcohol related problems. He comes across as being on your side and against the system, but I've learned that's what he does to get you to hire him. He has never gotten me off of anything, and I frankly could have talked to the prosecutor myself and received the exact same penalties all 3 times I've used him. For my restraining order, I was intoxicated when it was served to me, and I violated it several times getting into more trouble. In his representation of me, he didn't even ask about this knowing my drinking problem, he could have used that to argue in my favor and possible get me out of it. This is the exact thing I hire a lawyer to do, lawyering 101 - and he missed it. Don't waste your money - that's all he's good for.

Jack Venturi was recommended to me while I was in Freehold NJ and was in custody. Mr. Venturi was recommended by another inmate who said he was an excellent attorney. In my research I found this to be true along with the media coverage of other cases to prove. The accusations against me were for a sex crime and my concern was that he mainly dealt with capital crimes such as murder. I contacted his staff and after our talk my family and I decided to hire Jack Venturi.
Mr. Venturi immediately went to work. Not only was he able to get my bail lowered by HALF, extremely unheard of in a sex case, but he even help convince a bail bondsman to take my bond, and got me out of jail. After that, he put in several motions in the court, most of which we won and resulted in me going home to my family while we waited for the trail to come around.
At trial time, Jack Venturi displayed his best work. During trial, not only was he able to prove that the DA's office was lying and misconceiving what was said in a recorded phone call, he also proved the supposed victim lied, and could not ID me IN COURT. Needless to say, the jury took a total of two hours, maybe three, and came back with a NOT GUILTY, on all counts.
I had been charged with aggravated sexual assault on a minor, plus two counts of Child endangerment. This was not Mr. Venturi’s specialty and he delivered a home run. It was an uphill battle all the way, but with the experience, ingenuity and drive of Jack Venturi I was able to get my life back. I am now living back with my family and two children in Arizona. Thank you Jack for everything.

Jack came highly recommended from a friend who had used him in a criminal case and Jack did a fantastic job for him. My case was other then criminal, but after the free consultation, Jack decided to take it anyway. I'll say he is determined and good at filing deadlines and preliminary hearings. I would have respected him more if, at the outset, he'd told me it wasn't his "strong suit" and that I should find another lawyer. He talked a good game and I was fairly optimistic for a more favorable outcome, but as time dragged on, I questioned my choice.
Dates for court appearances were sent with less then 24 hours notice in some cases, communication from his office, prior to Jermy's employment, was sporadic at best. In the end, the outcome was hotly negoiated and the judgement was livable. The few legal questions I had asked (via e-mail, as he rarely returned my calls) after the case was settled, he stated it wasn't his area of expertise and that I should direct my questions to another lawyer that specialized in my type of case.
Now he decides I should seek another lawyer??
I'm told he's a great criminal defense lawyer, but, based on my limited experience with him, I can't recommend him.

I Have known Jack for more than 20 years. He is an aggressive advocate for his clients, and makes sure that they are afforded the full range of their Constitutional and statutory rights when accused of a crime involving fraud. I have referred Jack clients over the years and he has done a great job each time. I fully endorse Jack Venturi.
