Richard R. Uslan has been a distinguished and respected municipal court and criminal law trial attorney for over forty years. He is Certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Municipal Court Trial Attorney. He began his career representing criminal defendants in appellate matters before the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1978. Since that time, he has personally represented several thousands of clients in every county court, and in almost all of the over 500 municipal courts in the State of New Jersey. In addition to being featured in legal, State and Local news publications, he has appeared as an expert legal commentator on the nationally broadcast ABC-TV News Magazine “Nightline”, on WCBS-TV – New York (Channel Two) and on the nationally syndicated “Joey Reynolds Show”, broadcast from New York City on WOR-AM Radio.

Excellent Services

I had my gun purchase permit and gun taken away almost 3 years ago I hired Mr. Richard Uslan to represent me and he did a great job was always in contact with me and explained everything to the court and prosecutors and was able to win my case. Very high recommended.

Mr. Uslan shepherded me through a complex DUI case that easily could have cost me my driving privileges. During the entire case he offered pragmatic consultation and made no promises as to the end result. He was responsive, compassionate and thorough all along. Recommend 100%

I hired Mr. Uslan for a DUI + 5 traffic charges. Mr. Uslan was able to explain and guide me through the whole process. I felt calm, knowing he was in charge of my case. I had attend virtual court for my case and my 5 traffic tickets were dismissed. I did not lose my license. Had to get interlock device for 3 months. I’m so grateful for Mr. Uslans’ work. I appreciate everything you did for me.

CDS

I hired Mr.Uslan to defend me in a CDS case and he resolved my case and got the criminal charges dismissed. He defended me to the fullest. He was very professional and answered any questions that I had throughout the process. I had never been in trouble before and it was good to have a lawyer that was this diligent and affable to take me through a process which can be stressful.

I just want to take the time in Thank attorney uslan and his team. They made made this bad experience easier to deal with. I received tickets. For DUI,wreckless driving,DUI in school zone,in proper lane change. I was facing thousands of dollars in fines and 3 months to 6 months of License suspension. With the help of Uslan and his resources he got all charges dropped. I only had 1 charge against me wreckless driving and 30 days of License suspension. This was the first time this happen to me i was very scared but thanks to Uslan i was able to not get a DUI and saved me thousands of dollars. I am so thankful i pick him to represent me.

Stop Looking

First, no one is paying me to write this. I'm doing it because time and time again Richard Uslan has delivered where most attorney's couldn't. He has a vested interest in his clients. You are not simply a source of income, you're a person needing help and Richard gets that - which is why when I say; I trust him, its sincere. Best in NJ

Saved me from a 2 year license suspension. Was very upfront, honest and diligent. Explained all options available to me and was the most professional and courteous lawyer I have ever hired. I have had lawyers show up late to court and some not show up at all. Mr Uslan was already at the courthouse working with the prosecutor before I had arrived. Extremely grateful to be represented by a truly first rate defense attorney.

Richard Uslan - Highly recommended!

I hired Richard Uslan to represent me in Raritan Township Court. I was charged with leaving the scene of an accident, failure to report an accident, reckless driving, and improper passing. The penalty for leaving the scene of an accident is a 6 month suspension your driver's license. Richard was able to have the leaving the scene, and the reckless driving tickets dropped, and the other 2 tickets were amended to a no points violations. Richard is an excellent attorney and I highly recommend him.

Experienced, direct, confident. Best lawyer around

Richard uslan was great. He was early and spoke to the prosecutor before I arrived. He knew exactly what was going to happen and even though the court wanted to add additional charges, he had the most major changes dropped. Without his expertise i would have lost my license and paid much more in fines. He is the best lawyer I've ever had.

Very Good Attorney

I consulted and invited attorney Mr. Uslan helped me to defend in the court for my car accident. I was quite nervous. It was three charges in total. He helped me rescheduled the court date. Helped me smoothly answered all the questions in the court by the prosecutor. The time in the court was also very short. Finally it ends with quite minor payments. I will definitely suggest Mr. Uslan to other friends in similar situation in the future.

DWI Case

Attorney Uslan is an superb lawyer. Very understanding, and passionate with the work he does. He will sit down and find every possible way to accommodate his clients and make them the happiest. He examined the police report and found ways to get me the minimal penalties. A deserved 7-12 months without a drivers license was my original penalty, but got it down to 90 days. His work was and forever will be appreciated and exceptional. Definitely would recommend to anybody! 10/10!!

I have used Rich for both criminal and traffic violations for a few years. Possessing years of experience and impressive expertise of the law, importantly, he is also responsive, methodical and demonstrates a true compassionate concern.
