Typical Pass the Buck NJ Attorney
I responded to Michael's "Heart-felt-freedom-fighter add" and consulted with him on two cases. His calls were late, his attention span was short, and he wasn't fluent in the state and federal statutes for employment law. He doesn't seem to want cases, unless they're black and white, slipped on a...
I'm not sure who you are. I have never met with a potential client named "Jim" before, and I don't know what advertisement you are talking about. I've never purchased an advertisement. I take on many cases that most lawyers will not, however, I do turn clients away, even ones who have suffered grievous wrongs, when the law does not provide an avenue for monetary recovery. There are many times, especially when the State is the defendant, that the law provides no recourse. Litigation is extremely expensive, and I feel it is not ethical to take money from a client when I think there is no likelihood for success in a case. I am in fact, quite fluent in employment law, and would be happy to look at your case(s) again (or for the first time) and provide a written analysis of its strengths and weaknesses.
