Biography
As a founding partner of McDonald & Rogers, LLC, John concentrates his practice almost exclusively in federal and state litigation. John provides defense for individuals in both civil and criminal litigation, as well as employees under investigation for white collar crimes.
John's professional affiliations include being a Fellow at the American College of Trial Lawyers and the American Bar Association in 2007; serving on the Judicial and Prosecutorial Appointments Committee from 1998-2004; being President, Chair and Co-Chair of the Somerset County Bar Association at different periods between 1998 and the present; serving as President, Trustee and Officer of the Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers; and serving as Master and Curriculum Chair for the Seton Hall Law School Inns of Court.
Outside of the legal profession, John was named Parishioner of the Year by St. Mary's Church in Watchung, NJ in 2006.
John has also served as an attorney for the Watching Borough Board of Adjustments snce 1998 and for the Legal Services of Northwest Jersey as a volunteer attorney since 1995.
