New Brunswick attorney Chris Malikschmitt graduated from Brown University in 2006 and received his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania School of Law in 2011, graduating cum laude. Upon completion of his legal studies, Chris went on to two federal clerkships, first at the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, then followed by the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. After clerking, Chris worked at a corporate law firm in New York City, handling diverse civil matters including class action defense, white collar investigation, and complex civil litigation, including appeals. Following that “big law” law firm experience, Chris served as an Assistant Prosecutor here in New Jersey, appearing on behalf of the State in Superior Court and on appeal before the Appellate Division. Today Chris continues to serve as a municipal prosecutor in addition to his practice at Dressel/Malikschmitt.
Chris is admitted to practice in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.
