Very reliable experienced in family matters office. I hired them first time in 2015 for my divorce and two more times ever since ,the most recent Sep 2019 and we still on with Lauren Miceli. I’m very happy with their service great communication quick responses via email and phone very very helpful... Lauren sat down with me every time I was confused explaining me in depth every detail in every question I had. Friendly? Absolutely I was welcomed to the office when I needed to speak in person also many times I walked in without notice or appointment Lauren took time for me to ease any concerns I had. I also need to add how understanding and helpful their office has been with me doing payments in installments specially with my last case, I guess after all these years we achieved some mutual credibility and trust which I’m so grateful for. Do I recommend this office? Absolute yes I recommend it to everyone I hope you won’t need it because family issues are ugly but if you do you should hire someone who knows what they are doing and won’t just flush your money down to toilet.

One night shortly after getting home from work I was served with a Temporary Restraining Order. It was requested by my ex-wife who I had been divorced from for almost 10 years. We share joint custody of our children which is the primary basis of our contact. I read the order, learned as much as I ...could on the internet about TROs and FROs, and immediately knew I had to hire an attorney to protect my family and myself from the consequences that could follow if this injunction were made Final. After spending several hours reading reviews and visiting attorney websites I made appointments with a handful of attorney's to discuss the case. The attorney I chose to hire recommended I have Lauren represent me given the details of my case. The following day I was in Lauren's office for a consultation. During the consultation Lauren explained what a TRO and FRO were. She walked me through the process from being served to dismissal of the TRO. From what I remember she explained the burden of proof for the plaintiff to establish an incident of abuse or violence had occurred that endangered their well being. The plaintiff would also be asked describe a predicate act of domestic violence to establish a pattern of abuse. Lauren walked me through what legally would have to be proved to compel the judge to issue and FRO. She also allowed me to speak freely about the incidents that were captured in the TRO and any facts or details I could share that were important. This all happened before we decided that she would be my attorney and I her client. She was legally adept, an active listener, and meticulous at note taking capturing pages of details during the consultation. Unknown to me Lauren's notes would contain all the points that would prove critical for the upcoming trial. When we were done with the consultation she explained what would be needed to hire her, shared her thoughts on my case, and made no effort to twist my arm to retain her. The next time I saw Lauren was at the trial. Prior to the trial the detail notes that were taken had been converted into Cross Examination and Direct Examination questions. Lauren had me review them and was available to address any concerns. The case went just as Lauren how outlined. She was an expert attorney for my trial: poised and prepared, my chief defender serving as my mouthpiece. Lauren pointed out legal precedents to the judge and challenged the plaintiff where needed. The TRO was DISMISSED! I highly recommend Lauren first and foremost as a person you will be proud to call her your representative. Second, as an attorney her candor, knowledge, and preparation will give you confidence as you navigate the situation.
