Testament

While I visited John Manfreda in order to prepare a simple will and after I stated to him that I do not make power of attorney’s, his response being that ( I will twist your arm to make one) he prepared a general power of attorney that would render me incapable of managing my own affairs.

Don't know what this is asking for

Drew up Wills, Powers of Attorneys, Advance Directives for husband and wife. In two meetings, was thorough in explaining the clauses in the documents and in explaining the law governing them. Absolutely fulfilled promise to expedite.

Exceptional service!

My husband and I began our relationship with Mr. Manfreda just over a year ago. He spent an extraordinary amount of time fully explaining all of the complicated components involved in assembling a comprehensive will and trust for our family. He was both patient and passionate. He truly guided us t...hrough the process as if we were members of his family. John answered emails and phone calls in a timely fashion and was happy to meet with us on several occasions; he even met us on a Saturday afternoon! Our experience with John Manfreda far surpassed our expectations and I enthusiastically recommend him and his firm.

The worst lawyer experience of my life

The worst lawyer I ever dealt with. Talks down to me. Sexist. Totally disorganized. Just check out his office. The piles of client files are everywhere. He has a stand up life size cut out of a tennis/porn star in his office. The only good part about him is you probably are not going to get his bill... for months as he takes forever to do anything even bill. He will talk about his daughters forever which you will pay for in time. He is more interested in selling his daughters ADP payroll service then helping you with legal problems. He is NEVER WRONG. I think this guy is totally loosing it mentally.

The source is a former unethical client of mine with whom I severed my business and personal relationships quite some time ago. The vitriol speaks for itself and requires no further comment from me. This person has no credibility whatsoever. My professional credentials and 34 years of successful practice helping thousands of clients completely refutes such comments.

Ethics complaint

He did not return phone calls in a timely manner and stalled, stalled, stalled. I finally went to another attorney who handled my case quickly to a successful conclusion. Luckily, I did not let this poor excuse for an attorney continue with my case. It pays to do your homework. Had I known about ...his history, I would not have wasted my time with him.

I have no idea what this is about. It is contrary to how I run my practice, especially with regard to promptly returning phone calls. I am very surprised by this review and I have no idea who or why same would have been posted. Also, this is merely one disgruntled client's comment, out of the hundreds of clients I deal with, and does NOT constitute an Ethics Complaint nor should it be titled as such.
