Douglas Schuyler Bramley

Douglas S. Bramley has focused exclusively on representing employees and employers in all aspects of employment law for almost 20 years. He prides himself on working closely with clients and providing practical, common sense advice on solving employment-related problems.

Mr. Bramley has successfully represented hundreds of clients in state and federal court proceedings and before administrative agencies such as the EEOC and New Jersey Division on Civil Rights. He has argued cases before the New Jersey Appellate Division and the Third Circuit Court of Appeals.

Mr. Bramley has litigated claims involving all forms of discrimination, harassment, whistleblowing and unlawful retaliation, unpaid wages and overtime, wrongful discharge, breach of contract, violation of civil rights, defamation, tortious interference and related claims. He has represented employees at all levels – from senior executives to entry level employees – in a broad spectrum of industries, including pharmaceutical companies, financial services providers, big-box retail stores, hospitals, law enforcement agencies, technology companies, management consulting firms, entertainment companies, manufacturing companies and law firms.

Mr. Bramley also has extensive experience litigating the enforcement of non-compete and non-solicitation clauses, as well as the drafting and negotiating of employment contracts, independent contractor agreements, restrictive covenants and severance agreements.

Mr. Bramley is admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York, as well as before the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey and the Southern District of New York and before the Third Circuit Court of Appeals.

He is a graduate of the University of Richmond and Seton Hall Law School.
