An attorney is only as good as the number of cases he/she can aggressively represent and win

I am in the process of filing a complaint with the board of ethics about this attorney. Several attorneys pointed out many things that had gone wrong with my case when handled by this attorney. He single-handedly caused me much distress as I am still living in pain with permanent and exacerbating inj...uries and disfigurement. I never received compensation nor medical treatment due to this attorney's oversight (there were SEVERAL) to critical details of my case!!! My point is not to damage this attorney's reputation, but there are plenty of experienced, intelligent, caring and attentive attorneys out there. Why settle for less?

Destroyed evidence

This attorney not only refuses to provide me with a copy of my entire file for my case, but he proceeded to shred my documents. There is a serious ethics concern pertaining to this attorney, so he decides to conceal his actions. He does not respond to my calls or e-mails. It seems like my only way to... get him to respond is through a lawsuit...

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
