Suzanne Kathryn Collins

Suzanne concentrates her practice on personal injury and medical malpractice litigation.  She has extensive experience helping injured individuals pursue legal action following an accident caused by careless or negligent behavior including car accidents, slip and fall accidents, nursing home malpractice and medical malpractice.  Suzanne has litigated cases in both state and federal courts in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

After graduating from law school, Suzanne began her legal career as a law clerk for Raymond A. Batten, J.S.C. in Cape May County Superior Court.  This opportunity enabled her to gain a deeper understanding of the judicial process by observing first-hand how the court works, and preparing bench memoranda and opinions under the guidance of an experienced Superior Court judge.

Prior to joining Archer in 2005, Suzanne spent three years as a  associate with Crawshaw, Mayfield, Turner, O’Mara, Donnelly & McBride in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.  During that time, she litigated cases in a variety of insurance defense practice areas including product liability, personal injury, asbestos litigation, property damage, insurance coverage, and construction litigation. Suzanne’s previous experience as a defense attorney gives her the unique benefit of having litigated cases from both “sides of the fence.”

Suzanne has considerable experience in all aspects of the litigation process.  She routinely prepares pleadings, composes various motions involving unique legal issues, conducts depositions, and attends various court proceedings including mediation and arbitration.

Helping those in need was much of what drew Suzanne to the plaintiff’s side of medical malpractice and personal injury litigation.  As a member of Archer & Greiner’s Medical & Personal Injury Services team, Suzanne has assisted in settling and winning major jury awards in cases involving medical negligence, nursing home neglect and catastrophic personal injury.
