Rekha V Rao

Rekha V. Rao is a solo practitioner at the law firm of Rao Legal Group, LLC. She concentrates her practice in estate planning, elder law, guardianships, special needs planning and administration of trusts and estates. Rekha advises clients on both domestic and international estate planning issues so as to ensure clients effectively pass on their wealth and legacy to current & future generations while minimizing estate taxes. She also assists elderly clients with Medicaid & Veterans Administration benefits and coordinates private and public resources to finance the cost of long-term care. Rekha’s clients include multi-generational families, individuals or married couples with diverse estate planning needs. Rekha graduated cum laude from Pace University School of Law. She has been an attorney for over 12 years but has been specializing in the area of Trusts & Estates and Elder Law for around 8 years. She has worked for both large and small firms before opening up her own practice earlier this year. She is member of the New Jersey State Bar Association and belongs to the Real Property, Trusts & Estates Section as well as the Elder Law Section. She served as a Treasurer of the South Asian Bar Association of New Jersey for 3 years and is currently serving on the Board of the Walker Gordon Farm HomeOwner's Association in Plainsboro where she resides.
