I hired this lawyer, specialized in immigration, and gave him all the documents he needed to file my case for my worker visa, At the time i had only WV so i needed to file my case within 3 months before the expiration. We also sat down with my sponsors to see all the details of my case. He confirm...ed for weeks, then months that he was taking care, waiting for a document he had to type. Then he was sick, then his kid was sick and he couldn't go to work for another reason, then a super urgent case and so on... many and many excuses. Always confirming that everything was almost done, we were very close, etc. After weeks of trying to reach him i went to another lawyer for consultation, they said i have 4 days left in this country based on the stamp on my passport. At that point it was too late, my time was expiring. I had to leave US without any legal document that my file was received by USCIS. I asked if he could mail me the documents he had from me. He didn't and he said I had to go to his office so he can explain he was right because i could "overstay" without being illegal. I went and picked them up and he wasn't there. (of course) All the papers documents and letters i sent were there on a file with the same notes and post-its i let 3 months before. He never worked on that file, he never opened those envelopes. I paid everything in advance because he said that was his condition. So sorry for me and for the other person i sent to him before i knew how he was and how he really worked (and exactly the same pattern he used for this other client). The only reason i m writing this review is because i don't think anybody deserves such a stressful time in their lives and his promises can ruin your future. I would NOT recommend Sam Krantz attorney to anybody. Don't pay him in advance.
