also known as Trinidad Law Office, LLC, Elizabeth M. Elegbede (previously)
I opened my law office in April 2001 and have been in business since then. I handle about 50% immigration cases, 40% traffic court and disorderly persons cases, and another 10% is dedicated to miscellaneous legal issues such as correcting birth certificates. I work on my cases personally and I do network closely with other attorneys. I often work evening hours (although not as much as before) and I usually am able to receive clients on Saturdays.
I greatly enjoy meeting people from all walks of life and many different countries and cultures. I speak, read, and write Spanish fluently. I also speak French with some proficiency, am fluent in German, and I have traveled for my cases when necessary.
Most importantly, I do not just "dabble" in immigration law but take it very seriously. I consider it to be my main focus. I handle deportation (removal) cases, naturalizations, adjustment of status based on family relationships, U visa cases (for certain victims of crime), TPS, and similar issues. I do not generally handle other non-immigrant visas and/or business-based cases but can provide ready referrals. THANK YOU!
Si algo no entiende, llameme.
Somos gente abierta. ¡GRACIAS!

Elizabeth Trinidad is second to none.
My name is Armando, I am a current client of Elizabeth Trinidad. I sought out her (Elizabeths) services in November of 2012. Unfortunately due to an unexpected and unforeseen ruling from the judge that heard my case. A simple and minor traffic stop, escalated into something that she, in her profess...
"Elizabeth Trinidad is not just an excellent attorney—she's a good, decent person who sees people, not just clients. Elizabeth is a fearless counselor for her clients—and just as fearless in telling them the truth, even when it's hard to hear. She wants her clients not only to succeed in the legal matter at hand but to realize their best lives. With tenacity, compassion, and care, she helps them accomplish both. She’s the first person I recommend to anyone who needs immigration help."
"Elizabeth is an excellent lawyer who truly cares about her clients and works extremely hard to obtain the best outcome possible for them. I highly recommend her."
