Biography
While attending Rutgers College, Melissa obtained a triple major in Administration of Justice, Political Science and Psychology. She was very active in law school where she was honored in receiving the Reed Smith Clinical Excellence Award. Melissa was also distinguished as a “Best Oralist” in the 2006 Hunter Moot Court Competition and she was the recipient of the Hon. Rudolph J. Rossetti Memorial Scholarship and the Honorable Nathan C. Staller Scholarship.
Melissa focuses her practice on personal injury insurance defense and coverage cases. She also handles various types of professional liability cases, including deliberate indifference, medical malpractice and employment law. She has lectured on the topics of civil practice, insurance bad faith and litigation to her peers, representatives of carriers and students attending local law schools and colleges.
