Biography
Joshua Boyle is an Associate Attorney at Boudwin & Associates. He represents inventors in issues related to all aspects of intellectual property law, including patents and trademarks. His practice focuses on drafting and prosecuting utlity and design patent applications across a wide range of disciplines such as life sciences, software engineering and mechanical/electrical inventions. Joshua also files trademark applications on behalf of individuals and small businesses.
Before working at Boudwin & Associations, Joshua worked in Technology Transfer at the University of Pittsburgh and Carnegie Mellon University. While conducting patentability analyses for these institutions, Joshua was exposed to complex technologies across several academic departments, including the Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering and Electrical Engineering departments.
Joshua earned his undergraduate degree in Molecular Biology from Grove City College in Grove City, PA in 2014. He earned his law degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 2017 where he received both the ABA-BNA Award for Excellence in the study of Intellectual Property Law and the Pittsburgh Intellectual Property Law Association Student Leadership Award.
He is admitted to the bars of Pennsylvania and the United States Patent & Trademark Office.
